The SnapStackLab allows students to explore challenging STEM concepts that they see in their daily life and supports many curriculum outcomes. Students get a solid foundation in more challenging, non-intuitive scientific concepts like mechanical advantage, simple machines, and compound machines.
Each lesson includes a design and engineering challenge where students must apply what they have learned in a fun and creative way. Students also complete a compound machine design challenge. Students practice creative problem solving using the design and engineering process, allowing them to learn from their mistakes to create future innovations.
Resources for this lab include access to the Kid Spark curriculum library, online teacher lessons plans, student curriculum packets and workbooks, instructional videos, and a digital 3D parts library.
